Dinner with Nana

A picture of the rose Taya gave me.

Sunday night Michael and I had Nana over. It had been way too long since we got to spend some quality time with her. So we had her over for some yummy dinner. We got to catch up on what has been going on in our lives for the last couple months, and Nana got to play with Preston.

Nana and her first born!!

Nana and Preston watching 101 Dalmatians, anxiously waiting for dinner to be done.

We made a recipe from a cookbook filled with recipes from restaurants in the Great Northwest. it was a gift from my mom, and we have been wanting to try some, because they all look so good. So I picked out one that was a seafood medley. We made it with clams, mussels, and prawns. The pasta was in a white wine butter sauce. Oh man it was good. Then we had asparagus, and petite steaks.

It was really good catching up and spending quality time with Nana. Her and Preston love each other so much.

Then Michael, Preston and I went to bed early and got a good nights sleep before the work week. It was a great end to a great weekend.
